Livingstone Bound!

Last time we were in Zambia 3 years ago, we traveled 10 hours in the car to South Luangwa National Park, then back and then 8 hours(due to bad roads) to Livingstone where Victoria Falls is and then back. It was a lot of traveling with one small boy. SO this time since we had 2 small boys we decided not to go to try not to drive so many hours, since being cooped up in the plane was enough traveling time for us. But Keith and I really wanted to go to a game park and see some animals. So we decided to go to Chobe National Park in Botswana. That meant we only had to drive 5 hours(roads are good now) to Livingstone and then cross the boarder to go to Chobe. I will write about that ADVENTURE later.... It really was a adventure!  But our first leg of the trip was to drive to Livingstone. It was a beautiful day to drive. Blue BLUE Skies. With Michael Martin Murphy playing on the radio.... *sigh*.... What a life! I don't think Keith has the same great appreciation for Michael Martin Murphy's cowboy music playing on the radio....Maybe in 20 years he will LOVE it as much and my dad and I do! =)=) Maybe!! Our trip was nice and we stopped a few places to grab a coke, use the loo, change diapers and let the boys run around.
Baobab Tree on the side of the road!
Oh and just to clarify for you, Keith is NOT driving while taking this picture and we ARE on the right side of the road. In Zambia they drive on the Left side of the road. Though many times Keith got in on the wrong side. That is why I sit in the back, you can't mess up getting in the back!=)

African Coke Break! Love African Cokes! They taste so much better then American cokes!

"ON the Road again"
Kaden and Daddy being GOoFy! Now you know where Kaden gets it from!
We arrived! Lunch at OCEAN BASKET!!
Fish and Chips, Fried Calamari, and Fried Haloumi Cheese! Oh man I can live on that stuff!!
A really cool car in the parking lot at Ocean Basket!
Mist from above the Falls. Our family always stretches the heads around every corner, from about 50 miles outside of town just to be the FIRST one to see the Mist. Kaden was excited to join in on this tradition.  So pretty!
