Well my name is NOT Livingstone but when we go to the Zambezi Sun/Royal Livingstone Hotel, I always feel like I am transported back in time to the Colonial time period. I can imagine myself in colonial dresses and enjoying High Tea on the lawn. If the tea was not $30 I would have enjoyed the High Tea, but I will imagine I am enjoying it from a distance.=) For any of you who don't know what High Tea is, it is a fancy tea time where china and silver is used and you eat really pretty scones, cakes, biscuits, jams, all plated on pretty dishes with flowers and lace. It really is fun to try. Makes me fell civilized and proper. =) hehehehe yeah I am laughing because proper is not really a word that describes me. Anyways, The Royal Livingstone is a hotel that is modeled after colonial houses and they have the nice green lawns with swings and tables to enjoy lounging. I love walking around there and it is fun to see the animals walking around on the grounds. Zebra, Giraffe, Impala and sadly monkeys. Those little stinkers will grab all those lovely foods and run off with them. OK in my perfect world of imagination of Colonial days, Monkeys would NOT be permitted in them. Sometimes I wonder if I was born in the wrong century! I love hoop skirts, long dresses and using parasols! Oh well I can dream! =) And one of these days I am going to get a job at a history place or a reenactment place and I will have to wear cool costumes! Again Keith doesn't share my enthusiasm for dressing in costumes but he at least puts up with me =)=)

Some really cool metal animals are located all over the hotel grounds.
Here Kaden and Isaiah and Oma are posing with the warthogs.

Found one Giraffe. He was hanging out with the guard who feeds him, so we could get really close. They are so TALL!
