Or at least that is what the 3 Beauty shop ladies kept telling me for 8 long hours of pulling and tugging of my scalp, while they put extensions in my hair. I kept telling myself the same thing after I remembered the reason WHY it has been 10 years since I did this the LAST TIME! I told Mom and Keith to remind me of that pain the next time I think it a GREAT idea to braid my hair. Though last time I did this the braids were not nearly as tiny and so it didn't take 8 hours to do it. But Remind me to read this post next time that Idea even gets close to popping into my head! After this time I now and convinced I will never have a face lift either. I already had one thanks, and it was a all natural face lift.....by your scalp! OUCH!! But Beauty is Pain! Beauty is Pain! And when it was done it was beautiful!! I loved having my hair braided. I didn't have to brush my hair everyday for 2 months! I washed it once or twice a week and walla! I can say I got my Africa on!=) Though I don't know how Black ladies can handle getting their hair done so many times. Just remind me of the pain next time!!
