I Speak Chinese!!

Our family got to attend Lusaka Chinese Christian Fellowship while in Zambia. It is a church that my Mom and Dad helped start to help reach the 80,000+ Chinese that are in Zambia. It was a great time and we met a lot of neat people. The whole service was in Chinese and that is one language that i have NO idea how to read it or speak it.We did great at singing the Chinese songs because they were up on the screen and were written like how you would say them so we did rather well singing. The rest of the service was interesting. They had a, what I would think is a great preacher on DVD, and we watched that. I wish we could speak Chinese because he seemed to tell a lot of jokes and ever one would laugh. So I know Keith and I were missing the point but we laughed right along side everyone else.  But I did learn 5 Chinese words while there. This is what words I learned to say:
Ni Hao ~Hello
Xie Xie ~Thank you
Yesu~ Jesus
Halleluyah~ Halleyluyah
Amen~ Amen

YAY!! I LEARNED CHINESE!!!! =)
But seriously we had a great time and a great experience. After church we had fellowship with Green tea and cookies! Kaden was very excited to drink tea till he realized they don't put sugar in the tea, but he still drank it. I thought it tasted great! We had a great time! Xie Xie

I guess this sign is becoming normal in EVERY CHURCH!!
Before church started. More people came in so it was full. You can see it is also at out Baptist guest house like the International Bible study that goes on in the afternoon here too.
Mom plays music in Chinese really well! And she is learning to speak Chinese too. They say she has the perfect twang in her accent to speak it. Guess being from Texas and having a accent helps her in this case. And to think we always make fun of how she says "Warsh" your clothes, Yall, and do you want to do that thang. After 24 years of Zambians NOT understanding her accent it is nice to know someone is getting you now mom! =) You're doing great Mom! Keep it up! If I could say that to you in Chinese I would but I will use the words I know..... Halleluyah, Amen! =)
