OK.......Keith, I don't think we should be stopping by there!!!
That was our opinion last year when friends told us about the Knotty shop. We thought it was a Naughty shop and one that we shouldn't visit. Then we were talking to some friends and they said "The Knotty shop has the BEST Ice Cream." Well In my mind I am thinking exotic dancers serving up ice cream but come to find out it was not a rated X shop it is a tourist shop made out of wood that has knots. Out in the front yard there are all these cool animals that are made into animals. This trip into town we decided to brave up and go check out the Knotty shop. I was kind of worried about walking into the shop with my 4 year old so I went in first to make sure it was age appropriate. It turned out to be a really cool shop with all kinds of curios and gifts, and they do have some great ice cream! If you ever drive through Salcha Alaska, stop by and check out the Knotty shop. It is really cool!
