I just realized that I didn't post this in May.
In honor of Keith's Birthday, we held the 1st Annual Ramos Burger Cook Off. We got together some of our friends and neighbors and had a great evening celebrating my sweet hubby's birthday! The men of the party were summoned to create their BEST and YUMMIEST burger, cook it and fix it up and present it to the judges.... 6 of us women. With about 15 men cooking burgers on the grills, the burgers got pretty fancy. We tasted every burger and gave each burger a score. Presentation and Taste. Being one of the judges, I must say it was hard to judge because they were all DELICIOUS!!! In the end Tim Bodony won the best bread, Martin Hornfisher won the Best Presentation, and the 1st Place Burger went to Keith Ramos!! And NO the competition was not rigged. We had a panel of unbiased judges.... most of whom did not have loved ones participating. I enjoyed all of the burgers! It was fun and the weather was awesome for a cook off. I can't wait till next years cook off!
