BEARY Picking!

Well it is berry season and we have been picking berries like crazy. The other day we went to pick High bush Cranberries with our neighbors, Karin, Ida and Ms. Judy(Ida's Grandma). It was a rainy cool day but we had a great day. It was great berry picking and I think we got about 10 lbs of berries. These berries are good for jelly and jams and since they have a seed, they don't make good muffin or bread berries. It was a fun time out singing in the rain.

The next day Keith and the boys and I went out again but our trip was cut short. There is just something that scares me to death about picking berries and looking down on the ground and seeing fresh BEAR tracks... Yeah I jumped back in the car REAL FAST!! I think 10 pounds of berries is quite enough berries for me! Thus ending my BEARy Picking marathon.
