How's the weather out there?

Last year at this time of year we were hunkered down at home trying to keep the wood stove burning and the house from freezing when the temperatures reached -68 degrees. We had no sewer due to the sewer truck that picks up water, froze. We didn't go anywhere because cars would not start and getting out in at that temperatures is brutal and dangerous. School was optional, meaning if you could get there, flights were cancelled because flying at that temp is dangerous. It was a miserable time. But this year We have reached a point that even an elder said she has NEVER SEEN! Today the temperature on my thermometer says it is 33 degrees and it is RAINING outside! RAINING!! Did I mention it is January? Yes this weather has us all baffled. But even with the baffling weather, I will not complain. It has been nice to get out, Ice Skate, Ski, walk Kaden to school and go out for a long snow machine ride and not fear the the kids will get to cold.  Yesterday we went out with the Tulloch family for a wonderful snow machine ride. I have been here 3 years and this is actually the first time I have got to get on a snow-machine by myself and ride off trail. Most of the time I have driven our machine has been to the store or around the block. The Tulloch's let me borrow one of theirs and we all had one. Keith carried Isaiah with him since I am not quite comfortable with how the snow machine moves. After we got on the trail the Tulloch girls rode in the sled being pulled behind Ross' machine. Looked fun to me. Kaden was visiting a a friends house so he didn't go with us, but he would have loved it. It really was a wonderful day out! I just can't believe the weather! I LOVE IT!
We forgot our camera yesterday but here is a picture from a few days ago. Beautiful!
