Raspberry Folk School

During the craziness of canning and packing, it was nice to take a morning on Saturday to attend our local(next door) Raspberry Folk School and learn some new craft. Karin and Ida hosted the Saturday of learning to create stamps. It was super fun and I can see myself and becoming addicted to that type of therapy. It was very relaxing thinking of and creating a stamp. Kaden, who has done this before, was a pro and created a really cool camel stamp to go along with his Monkey stamp! It took a minute for my creative juices to start running. But like always when they start flowing, Africa usually comes out. So I created a family stamp with a Baobab tree. I LOVE  how it turned out. I can't wait to use it for cards and things. Isaiah, who was playing with other kids while we were stamping really wanted a stamp so out of scraps I created a quick snake and snowflake for him. But even the quickness made it look like African art. All the stamps turned out great. Thanks for hosting the Raspberry Folk School Karin!
