Sorry, I forgot to post our last park of our trip to Fairbanks!
The last 2 days in Fairbanks we got to spend with our friends Tina and Laura. They flew up from Texas to spend a week with us. It was fun to get to see them and take them to a few places around Alaska. We took them to Denali for the day and got to see so many things. It was so clear and warm that Denali (Mt. Mckinley) was clear. This is a rare sight to see since it is so high that the mountain makes its own weather and is usually Cloudy. We did see some wildlife such as Caribou, Dall Sheep, Moose, Golden Eagles, and even bears at home in Galena. We had a great time with Tina and Laura.
On the way to Denali at an Over look.

I still love all the flowers

At the end of the road of where we could drive, we got to walk around by a cool little river.

Arrival in Galena! To Laura's relief we flew on this plane and NOT a float plane.
She was a little worried about that.
Galena Airport
We can almost guarantee you a bear siting at the Dump

Lots of bears

Being Coffee drinkers Keith had to take Tina and Laura to the Galena Coffee shop.

Tina and Laura didn't know that when you come to Galena in the summer you get recruited to help with our garden=)
