Who said life in Alaska would ever be boring? I don't know but boring would be a little welcomed right now. It was about 10:45pm and Daisy started to bark and growl like I have never heard her do before. I look out the window and see these MASSIVE grey wolf like creatures digging through a box of frozen food that was bad and was being thrown out in the garbage. (Since it is so cold here, everything remains frozen if you put it outside. So Keith had put this box out to make room in our freezer for food that was not bad.) So the box of food is sitting out in our driveway in a pile of Snow and these Ginormous Wolf things were digging in it. I call Keith and what does he tell me to do " Go out and scare them away so we don't have trash all over our yard to clean up!"
"KEITH Who in the world do you think I am?" I am not going to go outside with a pack of wolves to scare them away!!! You have got to be kidding!!!" I find my massive torch(flashlight for you Americans) and go try to spot these things a little better. These things make Daisy look like a skinny shrimp. I opened the window and start yelling and screaming and they run to the end of my driveway with some food in their mouths. Of course my yelling wakes up Kaden and Daisy's barking and growling don't help calm him down These things are dragging trash all over our yard.....AAAAAHHHHHHH What do I do?
Well I will tell you what I did I GOT BRAVE and while these ferocious beast were down at the end of our drive way I ran out in my parka and boots and threw the box on top of my truck!!! Then I ran back inside ran up stairs boy do I feel brave now and my heart is pumping so fast that I can't sleep so I figured I would blog about it and maybe you all would get a kick out of my Brave adventure. Good night all!
