A Week of Love

Last week we got to host a mission team from our "home" church in Lake Jackson Texas. They came up to put on our annual Marriage Conference. There were seven wonderful people that came. Chad Alexander was the teacher at the conference. The others held a Kids camp for the kids while the parents were at the conference. Not only did the kids LOVE it but the parents loved being able to attend without worrying about finding someone to watch them. It was nice to sit and listen to wonderful information to apply to our marriages. We also got to enjoy a Date night where we got to enjoy a 5 course meal and spend time with each other with out kids. It was wonderful!! Besides the marriage conference, the team did some work with Young Life and they also helped with a community Valentines dinner. They were pretty busy. I got to enjoy 3 of them staying at our house while 4 stayed at Shell and Chris Kopps. It was so nice to have them here! My boys LOVED having friends here. They were the kind of mission teams you want to have. The kind that, besides the 7 extra people in your house, you really don't feel like they are invading your space. It was like having a big family here. So many laughs and fun! And every one made themselves comfortable  and that made hosting them really easy. I loved every minute of it! Here are some pictures of the group when we took them on an adventure to the Mall.
