In November we flew into Anchorage to await the baby's arrival. It was a fun to shop and eat out for about the first week and then we all were ready to come home. We have definitely become bush people and were tired of the traffic and expense of living in town. After four weeks of waiting for the baby to arrive we were anxious to get out of the city. But the wait was well worth it.
Isaiah Keith Ramos was born November 21st at 5:44 am. He weigh 8lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long.
Kaden is so excited to have his baby brother here and loves to hug and kiss and hold him!
It amazes Keith and I how God works out all the fine details of our lives and puts people in our path when we need them most. While in town we got to go to First Baptist Church in Anchorage and felt like we were right at home. The Church family welcomed us and invited us to all the events that were happening while we were there. We even got to meet some missionaries who know my Mom and Dad. It was fun to catch up with their family and they were such a blessing to us. Al and Bab's Dial were Missionaries to Lesotho and are now missionaries in Anchorage Alaska with their two boys Maho and Daniel. Kaden had a blast playing with the boys and looked forward to going to church and seeing all his new friends. Babs and Al were such a blessing to us and became family to us real quick. They opened their home to Kaden even at 2 am while Keith and I were at the hospital having Isaiah. I must say God took care of all the details in our lives during this trip and he did a wonderful job of putting African friends in Anchorage when we needed some family around. Both Al and Babs became instant "Grandparents" to Isaiah and Kaden and even made sure my parents got some pictures of Isaiah which they were anxiously awaiting a picture of their new grand-baby.
Thanks for posting pictures Tabby! Beautiful new baby and family!
