Alaska Dreams

We got our bed set up right under the window of our bed room. There is really no where else to put it in our room, but we are so glad it is right under the window. There is just something about laying in bed and looking up and seeing stars while you go to sleep.

The other night as Keith and I lay down in our beds to go to sleep, we looked up and saw this amazing green light dancing across the sky. We were so excited to see the Aurora Borealis(Northern Lights!!! They were so pretty that we got out of bed, got dressed in our snow gear and trooped outside to go watch them. We must have stood out there for about 30 minutes watching the light change direction. It was the most amazing thing to watch. God has such an imagination and thank goodness that we got to enjoy it. Can't wait to see it again!

Sadly my camera is not good enough to get any pictures and Keith being the photographer had lost his key to unlock the trunk with his camera. We found it now so the next showing of Northern lights we will get pictures and I will post them.

  1. Hi Tabitha! I'm so glad I found your blog. We are missionaries in Mozambique and just love your parents. I've heard about you over the years but never got to meet you. What an adventure you are on in Alaska! I worked in Southeast Alaska as a summer missionary in college so I never experienced winter there. I'm looking forward to seeing your pantry of a year's worth of food. Oh my! Your little boy is precious. God Bless!
